2026-2027 Tim Cook Scholars Recipients
Alena Ha is a junior studying industrial and systems engineering at Auburn University. She chose industrial and systems engineering because she enjoys problem-solving and finding better ways to approach everyday challenges. She also love how versatile the field is and that it gives her the opportunity to explore many different industries and career paths.
During her time at Auburn, she has become involved with LEAD Auburn and currently serve as the programs coordinator. In this role, she helps coordinate the Certified Student Leadership Program and works closely with participants and student leaders. LEAD has been one of the most meaningful parts of her Auburn experience because it has allowed her to meet different people, grow as a leader, and help other students find their place on campus.
Through her coursework, Alena has become especially interested in systems engineering and hopes to gain more hands-on experience through internships. After graduation, she plans to pursue a master’s degree in industrial and systems engineering and hopes to build a career where she can work on complex problems, collaborate with others, and continue learning along the way.
Outside of academics, Alena enjoys traveling, trying new things, spending time with her friends and family, and making the most of her time at Auburn.
