This study aims to develop a robust connection detail and design methodology for steel pipe pile-to-bent cap connections. The proposed details reflect the preferences of ALDOT Bridge and Construction Bureau engineers and align with current AASHTO LRFD specifications and ALDOT construction practices. The research includes full-scale load testing of five connection specimens in the ASEL high-bay facility.
