Program

All papers will be peer reviewed. Selected papers will also be invited for publication in special issues of the International Journal of Protective Structures. Papers with the main author who is 35 years old or younger will be considered for the Best Young Researcher's Paper Award based on both the quality of the paper and presentation.

There will be a controlled-unclassified presentation track for U.S. researchers who would like to participate in ICPS6 but need to present in a restricted forum.   Limited distribution abstracts, sessions, and proceedings will be managed and published by the Defense Technical Information Center.  Select papers will be invited for publication in the Journal of DoD Research and Engineering (JDR&E).

Sunday 10th May

Explosives Modeling for Engineers shortcourse (full day)

4 to 9 p.m. – registration and welcome reception, McCartney Suit, Shelby Center, hosted by the Department of Civil Engineering Chair,  Andrzej S. Nowak, and Dean of Engineering, Chris Roberts.

All keynote lectures, technical sessions, and lunches will be held at the Brown-Kopel Engineering Student Achievement Center (BKESAC)

Monday 11th May

8:00 to 9:30 a.m. – conference opening and keynote lectures #1

9:30 to 10:00 – coffee break

10:00 to noon – parallel technical sessions

Noon to 1:00 p.m. – catered lunch

1:00 to 3:00 – parallel technical sessions

3:00 to 3:30 – coffee break

3:30 to 5:30 – parallel technical sessions

5:30 to 6:00 – delegates walk together to the reception
