American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA)
The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, or AIAA, is the world's largest aerospace organization and has been the principal voice and technical society devoted to continuing contributions and global leadership in the aerospace community for more than 80 years. Auburn's student branch of AIAA hosts a variety of events throughout the year for both its members and the aerospace engineering department in general. In addition, the Auburn chapter seeks to connect students to extracurricular aerospace opportunities that would both enrich and complement any undergraduate engineering curriculum. The Auburn branch is actively involved at the annual AIAA Southeastern Regional Student Conference each year.
