Stormwater Reimbursement Program

Rain Ready Alabama helps homeowners, businesses, schools, and communities implement practical stormwater solutions that reduce runoff, improve water quality, and protect Alabama’s watersheds.

Eligible projects may receive reimbursement for up to 75% of costs. Larger projects, including HOA's and businesses, may qualify for additional funding. Eligible practices include:

  • Rain gardens
  • Bioretention
  • Permeable pavement
  • Bioswales
  • Rainwater harvesting systems
