The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering has been granting degrees since 1932 and has more than 4,000 living alumni. According to U.S. News & World Report, our college ranks 31st in the nation among public institutions. We offer a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Master of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering (Non-Thesis), Ph.D. as well as a   Master of Engineering Management (MEM)  degree. 

The department has approximately 146 graduate students, with 66 of those Ph.D. students. Recent graduate students have been employed by companies such as Intel, Delta Airlines, General Motors, Honda, Accenture, Harris, Siemens, Hyundai and NASA, and by universities such as Penn State, Old Dominion University, University of Louisville and the University of San Diego.
