Auburn University TAPPI Student Chapter

The main activities of the Auburn Chapter are focused on outreach. Our students spend weeks at local elementary schools engaging in paper related activities with 4th and 5th graders (paper-making and paper-testing, respectively).In 2017 we hope to include 3rd graders in the mix.

Another major outreach activity was engaging with the approximately 3,000 visitors to Auburn's campus as part of the annual E-Day open house. A healthy contingent of chapter members made their way to Portland, Maine to take part in the TAPPI Student Summit. The Summit experience was a great one for us; we got a lot of ideas from fellow students and had a good time at the various activities.
