Study Abroad in Pamplona, Spain - Summer 2026
The Auburn University Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering has an exciting opportunity to earn course credit and valuable industry experience while experiencing a new culture! Students will work with international companies to solve engineering problems. These groups will work towards a solution following a standard problem-solving structure by working Monday through Thursday with weekly presentations demonstrating progress and then culminating in final project presentations at the end of the trip.
- International Engineering Projects - $10,450
- Early Bird Special – Apply and Commit before 12/19/25 and receive $500 off
- International BET – $11,450

International Engineering Projects
Join us for a six-week study abroad program in Pamplona, Spain! We will also travel to San Sebastián, France, and more. This program is through a partnership with CITI Navarra.

International BET students will begin working on their product projects during the 3 weeks prior to the trip during the bootcamp course times. The IBET courses will begin during the bootcamp course dates and the expectation is for students to have the foundation of their projects complete so they can hit the ground running in Pamplona. Students will complete the second year of the IBET minor (BUSI/ENGR 5530 and 5540) during the summer, which completes the IBET minor.
Projects
Students will work with international companies in Spain to solve an engineering problem. These group projects will work towards a solution following a standard problem-solving structure (DMAIC/DMADV) by working Monday through Thursday with weekly presentations demonstrating progress and then culminating in final project persentations at the end of the trip.
Courses
INSY 3600, PHIL 1110, INSY 4970, and BUSI/ENGR 3500 are optional courses students can select and are included in the trip fees.
