The Auburn University Samuel Ginn College of Engineering has again posted a banner year for externally sponsored projects, bringing in more than $74 million in awards during fiscal year 2020.
Assistant professor Debswapna Bhattacharya's $1.86 million Maximizing Investigators' Research Award from the National Institutes of Health is the second major award he has received this year, following a $550,000 National Science Foundation CAREER Award.
