To advance microelectronic science, technology, and education by providing facilities that encourage interdisciplinary research and educational/training activities within Auburn University and the state of Alabama.
AMNSTC was the first center at Auburn University to perform interdisciplinary research and involves personnel and facilities from the departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical/Materials Engineering and Physics. Cooperating researchers include faculty and staff from materials engineering, chemistry and veterinary medicine, to name a few.
