ACHIEVEMENTSDr. Janell Catlin successfully defended her dissertation and has accepted a postdoctoral position with the Teachers College at Columbia University in the Science Education program.Dr. Dannielle Joy Davis recently presented her scholarship on academic socialization and mentorship in Venice, Italy. Dr. Felicia M. Moore was accepted to the Editorial Review Board of Journal of Science Teacher Education, term 2006-2011; and she was approved from Columbia University with GSAS Dissertation Sponsor status. Dr. Giovanna Brasfield received two doctoral degrees simultaneously from University of La Verne, California; Doctor of Education (EdD) and Doctor of Public Administration (DPA). Devona Foster successfully passed her comprehensive examination, Auburn University, Higher Education program. Dr. Denise Davis-Maye was granted Tenure and Promotion to Associate Professor, Auburn University, and the first Boot Camp contributed greatly to this accomplishment.
