Test Track Manager, Auburn Professor to Serve as Keynote Speakers at Australian Conference

Buzz Powell, assistant NCAT director and Pavement Test Track manager, and David Timm, Gottlieb Professor of Civil Engineering, will serve as keynote speakers at the 14^th International Flexible Pavements Conference to be held in Sydney, Australia in October. 

The conference, organized by the Australian Asphalt Pavement Association, will bring together international researchers, road agencies and industry representatives under the theme of sustainable roads. Timm and Powell will also participate as session leaders in post-conference workshops and “master classes” to be held in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. In each venue, they will feature research findings from the NCAT Pavement Test Track and other satellite test roads with an emphasis on sustainable materials and perpetual pavements.
