OVERVIEW

The work done in the Advanced Propulsion Research Laboratory (APRL) encompasses a wide variety of theoretical and computational modeling of wall-bounded thermofluid and propulsion systems that are mainly driven by either wall-normal or wall-tangential injection. Specific areas of interest span concepts in low and high speed fluid mechanics, vorticoacoustic instabilities, engine internal flowfields, and vorticity dynamics.
