Research Summary
Dr. Lee is conducting research in the area of bioprocessing of lignocellulosic materials for production of fuels and chemicals. These studies include physica-chemical properties of biomass, bioreactor development, and enzyme and microbial process technology. He is also working on development of a novel sulfur-free pulping/delignification process in supercritical fluid and organosolv.
