Bibliography/Webliography on Agent Technology

Bibliography on intelligent agents, multi-agent systems, and their Simulation
Taken from the collection of computer science bibliographies.

Bibliography on software agents
Current and large bibliography; over 1400 references.

Citeseer research index
ResearchIndex is a scientific literature digital library that aims to improve the dissemination and feedback of scientific literature, and to provide improvements in functionality, usability, availability, cost, comprehensiveness, efficiency, and timeliness.

Digital Bibliography & Library Project (DBLP)
The DBLP server provides bibliographic information on major computer science journals and proceedings. Initially the server was focused on DataBase systems and Logic Programming (DBLP), now it is gradually being expanded toward other fields of computer science. You may now read "DBLP" as "Digital Bibliography & Library Project". The server indexes more than 200000 articles and contains several thousand links to home pages of computer scientists (March 2001).

Information Technologies: Agent Technologies
An extensive encyclopedia from Insead on resources on the Internet. This contains information on agency in general, but also on toolkids, software architectures, virtual communities, conferences, etc.

Intelligent Agent Links
There are many kinds of agents. In this page you will find mostly links related to intelligent collaborative agents.

Intelligent Software Agent Bibliography
by Steve Gant, resived until 1995; 85 entries.

Industrial and research information about multiagent systems design, implementation, theory, and applications.

This site contains pointers to information about multiagent systems, including both research and industrial references. The front page also has breaking news of some relevance.

WPI AIRG - Multi-Agent Systems Webliography
This is a collection of potentially useful sources of information about Multi-Agent Systems at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Link Collections

AgentLink paper collection
AgentLink maintains a database on (general) agent-based computing.

News Letters

AgentLink is Europe's ESPRIT-funded Network of Excellence for agent-based computing. AgentLink is a coordinating organization for research and development activities in the area of agent-based computer systems funded by the European Commission. As such, AgentLink supports a range of activities aimed at raising the profile, quality, and industrial relevance of agent systems in Europe.

Agents Portal
Agents Portal is a meeting point for people interested in Agents and Multi-Agent systems. We collect resources about this research and technolgy field for people looking for up-to-date information.

The DAI list
Distributed AI list, moderated by Prof. Michael Huhns ( Conferences on multi-agent systems are announced on this list.

UMBC AgentNews Webletter
AgentNews is a mailing list that is used to distribute periodic announcements of new items on the UMBC agents web (see below). Items added to the agents news page will be collected and a summary mailed out every two weeks or so.
