U.S. News and World Report ranked the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering 28th among public institutions in the nation in its annual 2015 Best Colleges list, representing a two-spot jump from 2014. In addition, Auburn Engineering ranked 51st overall among the best engineering programs in the country, again moving up two spots from 2014.
