Mr. Sines has been employed by CRH Americas Materials for the past twenty-five years and is currently the Vice President – Sustainability and Decarbonization where he is responsible for developing the strategy for CRH’s multi-year sustainability and decarbonization program. He leads AMAT’s continuous improvement in these areas targeting a 42% reduction in CO₂ emissions by 2030. Prior to taking on this role Mr. Sines was the Vice President – Asphalt Performance where he was responsible for asphalt initiatives ongoing across all CRH Americas Materials 400+ asphalt plants.

Mr. Sines is a member of the National Asphalt Pavement Association Board of Directors. Ron previously worked for the New York State Department of Transportation’s Materials Bureau for 15 years where he managed all aspects of the State’s asphalt materials program, including the implementation of Superpave and Quality Assurance Specifications.

Ron received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Youngstown State University and is a registered Professional Engineer in New York.
