Engineering Offers Technical Assistance Program for Manufacturers
The Auburn University Samuel Ginn College of Engineering has established a cost effective technical assistance program called Auburn Engineering Technical Assistance Program (AETAP).
AETAP's mission is to provide Alabama's manufacturing enterprises with convenient and cost effective access to high quality technical assistance, workforce training and advanced technology through the land grant role of Auburn University. Its goal is to help manufacturers increase their competitiveness in a rapidly changing world of international commerce.
Engineering faculty and students operating from AETAP offer a wide range of on-campus advisement and technical expertise in noise and vibration abatement, rapid prototyping, plant safety, lean manufacturing, factory automation, virtual prototyping, waste reuse, HVAC analysis, quality improvement assistance, material and failure analysis, technology awareness, preventive and predictive assessments, and continuing education and training.
