CAST Laboratory Adds Multimedia Classroom

Thanks in large part to Sen. Richard Shelby, the Center for Advanced Simulation and Technology (CAST) laboratory has been established in the Aerospace Engineering Department for 4 years.

The latest addition to this lab is a state-of-the-art multimedia class/conference room. This facility will allow faculty and staff to display simulation results graphically, teach using multimedia, and hold Internet conferences.

Over the past four years the CAST project has supported research by eight graduate students and seven faculty members from the Aerospace Engineering Department, the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, and the Department of Aviation Management and Logistics in the College of Business.
