Auburn Engineering Graduate School

We believe in work, hard work.

“If they are an undergraduate student in a program at Auburn, I would encourage them to seek out the Accelerated Bachelor's to Master's track and apply themselves to the online programs. Even if you move away and get a job somewhere else after you graduate, you can still do online coursework through Auburn.”

“Auburn's MEM program aligned better with the technical aspects of my career. I think that the format of it being online really doesn't hinder the opportunity to be involved in class. It really has been manageable, and it's definitely exceeded my expectations and with the flexibility portion of it.”

Kanak Parmar Interview

This online program allows me to be able to work on my classwork on the weekends and outside of the regularly scheduled — not really 8 to 5 — that I currently have. Being able to have that flexibility and still get a master’s within a couple of years post-grad is just really a great opportunity.

David Hollinger Interview

Auburn Engineering's Graduate Programs are designed to provide students with multidisciplinary, collaborative research opportunities for scholarship and discovery. A key component of our strategic plan is to significantly increase our number of exceptional graduate students and our commitment to world-class research. We offer unique opportunities for students to engage in programs at the frontier of engineering education and innovative research.

Support is available to graduate students through teaching and research assistantships. Full tuition fellowships are also available to all graduate students on a 33 percent or greater assistantship assignment. Additionally, renewable fellowships are available that create opportunities for financial packages including stipends of $24,000 to $32,000 plus a tuition fellowship. These highly competitive packages enable Auburn Engineering to recruit and support outstanding graduate students.
