SEMINAR: "Community Complex System Considerations for Infrastructure Resilience"

Auburn University's Department of Civil Engineering will host a seminar titled "Community Complex System Considerations for Infrastructure Resilience." The seminar will be presented by Dr. Vilas Mujumdar, a senior management executive and leader in the civil and structural engineering field.

Vilas Mujumdar is a senior management executive and a leader in the civil/structural engineering field. Since 2009, he practices as an independent consultant after retiring from the National Science Foundation as program director for engineering research centers and for the Network for Earthquake Engineering Simulation programs at NSF.

His experience includes structural consulting engineering, project/construction management, precast concrete manufacturing, teaching and research management. He is named a fellow of the American Concrete Institute, Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute, Society of Risk Analysis,and The Institution of Structural Engineers, U.K. for his contributions to the engineering profession.
