Fourth-annual Graduate Engineering Research Showcase

The Council of Engineering Graduate Students will hold its fourth-annual Graduate Engineering Research Showcase on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 2-4 p.m. in the courtyards of the Shelby Center.

Registration for the showcase begins Monday, Sept. 14 and will last through Thursday, Sept. 24. Graduate students can register as either presenters or visitors through the GERS 2015 website.

This showcase provides a great opportunity for new and existing graduate students, as well as undergraduate students, faculty and outside visitors, to learn more about the diverse research being conducted by graduate students in the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering.

Graduate students from all engineering departments are encouraged to participate in the competition, and all presenters are invited to attend an awards banquet following the poster session.

Refreshments will be provided during the competition for all showcase attendees.

Please note that abstracts are required upon registration. Abstracts are limited to 1,500 characters and will be used for informational purposes only. Abstracts will not be evaluated as part of the competition. The first-place award in this year’s poster competition will be $1,000, with more than $6,500 distributed to other winners, including at least one winner from every engineering department.

For more information about the event, please visit the GERS 2015 website or email cegs@auburn.edu.
