Dr. Yin Bao

Dr. Bao directs the Agricultural-Cyber-Physical Engineering Research (AgCyPhER) Lab, which focuses on engineering cyber-physical systems (CPSs) for next-gen smart agriculture. The specific research areas include in-situ sensor development, remote and proximal sensing, computer vision, machine learning, robotics, and their deep integration for solving pressing challenges in agriculture of Alabama and beyond. The long-term goal is to continuously improve profitability and sustainability of modern agriculture with effective, efficient, scalable and adaptive CPSs.
