The purpose of the Alabama Road Safety Conference is to share information about programs and techniques that can help agencies strengthen their planning, design, and operations processes to improve the safety performance of their systems. The 13th Annual Alabama Road Safety Conference will be held October 13-15, 2026, at The Lodge at Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
Hurricane Isaias Update
October 7, 2026, 2:00 PM: ATAP Staff is closely monitoring the situation with Tropical Storm Isaias and is in continuous contact with our partners at ALDOT and the event venue staff at The Lodge at Gulf State Park. There are currently no plans to postpone or cancel the event. Updates will be provided as more information becomes known and if the outlook changes. We appreciate your patience and optimism.
Optional Workshop Information
Join us for an optional hands-on training session covering Numetric AASHTOware Safety Software. Please note that participants are required to bring their own laptop to fully engage in the software exercises and follow along with live demonstrations. For those planning to attend and who are arriving on Monday, October 12, the registration desk will be open from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm in The Burrow.
