PFEN 4910: Textile Engineering Design I (3 cr.): Initial quarter of senior design project (fabrics and composites design)

TE 355: Application of Numerical Methods for Design in Textiles (3 cr.): Numerical methods and its applications in the design of textile materials; computer aided design, statistics, weave design and image acquisition.

PFEN 7500: Mechanics of Textile Reinforced Materials (3 cr.): Mechanical analysis of Textile Reinforced Materials; elastic, inelastic and failure analysis; the impact of preform geometry on material properties. Special emphasis is given to design methodology and applications.
