Description:

As the research course for spatial data management, this course studies theoretical and applied issues related to the analysis, design, and implementation of spatial database systems.

Grading:

Class Participation: 20%

Term Report Proposal: 10% (Due Sep. 30)

Midterm Progress Presentation and Report: 20% (Due Oct. 25)
Final Report: 30% (Due Dec. 6)

Paper Presentations: 20% (2 presentations)

Policies: Due date/time will be strictly enforced. No work will be accepted after the deadline.

 

 

Participation:

It is required that you attend class on a regular basis. Class participation is very important to the organization of the course.
