Biography

Wei-Shinn Ku (Wei-Shinnญญ) was born in Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. He received the B.Info. and the B.Ed. degrees in Information & Computer Education and Special Education (double major) from National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) in 1999. He was a Second Lieutenant in the R.O.C. Army as an information officer and a platoon leader from 1999 to 2001.  He received the M.S. in Computer Science, the M.S. in Electrical Engineering, and the Ph.D. in Computer Science all from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, California. Currently, he is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama.
