What we do for fun

Steve likes to grow perennials, shrubs, and ornamental grasses. Steve is also a Youth Soccer Coach for the Auburn Soccer Association. Robin likes scrapbooking (Creative Memories) and stamping. She is a Mom's in Touch coordinator and a Brownie troop leader.

Kate and Bram go to Wrights Mill Elementary School. Kate loves crafts, soccer, Girl Scouts, American Girls, and reading (Lord of the Rings books her current favorites). Bram loves soccer, karate, playing ball, computer games, and action figures.

We go to church because we love God and we believe in Jesus. We like being with other believers and we think that laboring to make the world a better place is the best way to let others see God. We worship at Connerstone Methodist Church (http://www.cornerstoneauburn.org/).

A brief history

Robin is from Reno, NV. Actually she's an air-force brat so she's from everywhere. Her Mom and Dad are in Reno and that is where she went to high school. Steve is from Forest Park, GA, just south of Atlanta, and his parents now live in Hampton, GA. We both commuted to get our bachelors in chemical engineering - Robin to University of Nevada at Reno and Steve to Georgia Tech. We met working for Exxon at the Baytown Texas Refinery - we saw each other in our hardhats, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses and knew it was love at first sight.

Kate Camden gets her middle name from Camden, Maine, where we went on our honeymoon. Bram Houston gets his middle name from Houston, Texas, where we met. We couldn't think of middle name with geographical significance for Urbana, Illinois, (our first home together) so we quit having children.
