Biographical Sketch

Fangyang joined Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering at  Auburn University in August 2004 and obtains  a Ph.D. degree in August  2008. His research interests include wireless networking, information systems, and storage systems.  Dr. Shen is a member of IEEE, a member of ACM, and a member of USENIX.  Before coming to Auburn, he got a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree both in computer science and engineering in June 2004 and June 2001.

Other Activities

As a member of Auburn University's Men's Table Tennis Team, Dr. Shen's NCTTA score is 1402, he represented Auburn University to play 2007 ACUI/NCTTA National Collegiate Table Tennis Championships. His partners to play table tennis in his spare time are Dr. Tin-Yau Tam, Dr. James H. Cross II, Dr. Saeed Maghsoodloo, Bailey McKay.
