Fatma Selcen Kilinc, PhD

I am currently post-doctoral research associate in Polymer & Fiber Engineering Department at Auburn University, USA. I received my PhD (2004) in ITAS at Auburn University, MS (2000) and BS (1997) both in TE at Istanbul Technical University, Turkey. My research interests are composite fiber development, fiber extrusion, yarn manufacturing, statistical quality control, comfort perception of human being, and testing and analyzing comfort properties of textile materials for military, sportswear and protective clothing. My dissertation topic is development of a design-oriented fabric comfort model.
