Jerry Davis


Dr. Jerry Davis is an associate professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Auburn University, AL. A professor member of ASSE, Jerry specializes in the area of work measurement, methods engineering, occupational safety and systems safety.

In the undergraduate industrial engineering program, Jerry teaches the Methods Engineering & Work Measurement Course and Lab, an Occupational Safety & Ergonomics Course (jointly with Dr. Rob Thomas), Professional Practice, and Senior Design periodically. Teaching responsibilities at the graduate level include all Safety Engineering Courses, Seminar, and OSE/OIPRT Seminar.

He is certified by H.B. Maynard and Company, Inc. in the use of BasicMOST, and MiniMOST predetermined time and motion systems. Dr. Davis has been recognized in United States District Court as an expert witness in regards to work measurement matters relating to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), as well as, occupational safety and ergonomics matters.
