 Advanced Laser Diagnostics Laboratory

The Advanced Laser Diagnostics Laboratory at Auburn University specializes in the development and application of laser diagnostics for the measurement and investigation of turbulent flow fields.  Highlights of the laboratory include a pulse burst laser system that can produce up to 10,000,000 laser pulses per second.  When used with a high-speed camera, the laser is capable of imaging flow fields at repetition rates as high as 10 million frames/sec.
