Graduate Assistantship
Prospective students having research interest in biomass gasification, hydrogen production and fast pyrolysis of biomass are encouraged to contact Dr. Adhikari for possible funding. Graduate research assistantships are normally available for highly qualified and motivated students. Ph. D. and MS assistantships will start at $22,000 and $16,000 per year, respectively with the possibility of increments. Problems related with bioenergy systems are often multi-disciplinary in nature and a strong background in Agriculture/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering with good communication skills and ability to work in teams are necessary traits of prospective students.
Assistantship is available for one PhD student to start from fall 2010. Prospective students are encouraged to contact Dr. Adhikari with their credentials including GRE and TOEFL scores.
