HOBBIES

Photography

Glass Carving

In 1996 I carved an AU emblem into a piece of glass which was flow on space shuttle mission STS 69 by Col. Jim Voss.  This item is now on display in the Aerospace Engineering Building.  I have carved several other pieces but this hobby is now dormant due to time constraints.

Antique Cars

Shown below is my 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 XL convertible.

Writing

A poem and a novel.

Model Railroading/Trains

Below is an image of the Louisiana Steam Train Association's former Southern Pacific mikado.  I enjoy modeling trains in several scales and photographing full sized trains.

Woodworking

I have made numerous pieces of furniture primarily from oak in my small basement woodshop.

Home Designing

I have designed several homes in the Auburn area including the one that my family and I now reside in.
