Taught almost all courses in the Mechanical Engineering curricula. Taught over 9,800 Engineering students. Supervised five Ph.D. and eighteen M.S. students, nine postdoctoral fellows, twelve UNDP sponsored executives from industries, and one Fulbright scholar. Developed an integrative, interactive instructional methodology that brings real world issues into engineering classrooms. Obtained funding over $1.1 million from NSF and industries and established the Laboratory for Innovative Technology and Engineering Education (LITEE). Faculty and students from Colleges of Engineering, Business and Education working through LITEE have developed award-winning case studies that integrate engineering theory, design and practice (http://www.auburn.edu/research/litee).
