Welcome to Dr. Hong's Nanofluidics Group!

Dr. Hong's Auburn Fluidics Group is a research team at Auburn University with primary interest in nanofluidics and nanobiotechnology. Dr. Hong teaches and studies nanobiotechnology and nano/microfluidic systems for materials processing and biology/medicine applications. His research has focused on integrated nano/microsystesms for biotechnology, and more specifically single cell/molecule analysis, integrated micro system for multiple enzymatic reactions, and very-large-scale integrated (VLSI) microfluid systems for automated bioprocessing.

Several Openings Are Available

Openings are available for both postdoctoral scholars and graduate students in many fields.

Postdoctoral Scholars

We have currently openings for a couple of qualified postdoctoral scholars, Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Molecular Biology, Electrical Engineering are preferred but not limited to. As our research is very interdisciplinary and non-traditional anyone who wants to explore these new fields are encouraged to contact Dr. Hong directly.

Graduate Students

Several Graduate Research Assistant(GRA) positions are available. Highly self-motivated students whose backgrounds are in Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Electrical Engineering and/or Physics are encouraged to apply.
