As a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education, our students are eligible to apply for the DoD IASP. Students desiring to transfer to Auburn University from other institutions are also welcome to apply. Points of contact at partner universities are listed below. Student interested in this scholarship must:

Your completed application must be turned in to Dr. Hamilton by 4:30 p.m., Friday February 1st either to my office, Shelby Center 3101D or to my mailbox.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

     1.  Rising junior and senior undergraduates, masters and doctoral candidates in computer science, software engineering, wireless engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, mathematics and management. 

     2.  Students who are U.S. citizens, and are at least 18 years of age

     3.  Willing to serve in the Department of Defense in either the Civil Service or the National Guard or reserves

Scholarship Pays for:

    1.  The full cost of tuition, fees, books, lab expenses, supplies and equipment incurred by students selected for the program. 

    2.  Students will be provided a stipend to cover room and board expenses: 
Undergraduate students will receive a stipend of $10,000, per academic year
Graduate (masters and PhD) students will receive a stipend of $15,000, per academic year
