Neuromarketing Research

Dr. Wi-Suk Kwon ( in the Department of Consumer Affairs is collaborating with Drs. Sang-Eun Byun, Sandra Forsythe (Consumer Affairs), Gopikrishna Deshpande (Electrical and Computer Engineering), Jeffrey Katz, and Ana Franco-Watkins (Psychology) at Auburn University on neuromarketing research to generate holistic knowledge of consumer decision making under scarcity conditions.  Validation of subjective psychometric results with objective physiological parameters obtained through functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) of brain activity allows discovery of neuroscientific evidence for the underlying brain processes responsible for decision making under scarcity.
