ACM Southeast Conference

Every year computer scientists and engineers from academia, industry, and government agencies come together to attend the ACM Southeast Conference, where they discuss and exchange their research results and professional experiences. The ACM Southeast Conference is believed to be one of the oldest continuously held computer science conferences in the nation. It has been held every year since 1962 in the southeast United States. The original name of the conference was ACM ANNUAL SOUTHEAST REGIONAL CONFERENCE; the current name was adopted in 1992 when ACM changed its regional structure.
