This is an exciting time to be part of Computer Science and Software Engineering (CSSE) at Auburn. We have a dynamic and energetic faculty committed to delivering high quality instructional, research, and outreach programs. Our students are talented, hard working, and highly sought by industry. CSSE provides a collegial atmosphere where faculty and students can interact and explore their full potential.
We moved into the new Shelby Center for Engineering Technology in December 2007. This magnificent state-of-the-art facility provides our students and faculty an incredible environment to study new technology and conduct cutting-edge research. We expect CSSE continue to grow and flourish in this new facility.
Our department offers three undergraduate degrees: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Wireless Engineering, and Bachelor of Software Engineering. At the graduate level students can earn a Master of Science, Master of Software Engineering, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy degree.
