Prospective undergraduate students and those already enrolled may apply for scholarships through the Office of Financial Aid. Annually, a committee composed of faculty members from all departments in the College of Engineering reviews applications and recommends awards. Some of the available scholarships for undergraduates have been made possible by donors who have earmarked their contributions for Aerospace Engineering. Hence, these scholarships are awarded to students who meet all other criteria and enroll and remain enrolled in Aerospace Engineering.
Prospective graduate students may apply for financial assistance at the time they apply to the Graduate School for admittance, or later. Funds are available to help support a limited number of Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTA's), who assist faculty members in connection with classes and may teach lower level engineering subjects. Additionally, faculty members who are Principal Investigators on contracts or grants hire Graduate Research Assistants to help with their research projects.
