AU Racing The Auburn University Hovering Tigers recently
competed in a race in South Lyon, Michigan. In this race we
competed in three different classes.

The first race was formula 2, with a limitation of 500cc,
which we took second place. The second race was formula S,
with a restriction of a single engine with unlimited displacement,
which we also took second place.

The final race was an endurance race, this class was open to any
craft but it was a 25 lap course, which we placed fourth.
The Hoverclub of America Rallies include sanctioned hovercraft
racing consistent with the organization's rules and regulations.

These races are run on a land/water track that typically includes a
mix of tight turns and fast straight sections. This is an action packed
sport for either participants or spectators of nearly any age. A rally may
also include cruising, model competition, technical conferences, banquets
s and other events.
