Auburn University's hovercraft team was formed in 2003. Administered by the Department of Polymer and Fiber Engineering, the team is comprised of students from a wide range of engineering disciplines including polymer and fiber, mechanical, electrical, and aerospace, as well as students majoring in industrial design.
