Goals

As a student chapter, EWB – AU shall:

  • Create a sense of excitement and enthusiasm about solving technical development problems within a cultural and social context by bringing together those who are interested and encouraging discussion amongst them to solve the problem together
  • Organize a project team(s) to design and implement engineering projects internationally
  • Support local service organizations in their projects around the community
  • Work with EWB-USA to ensure the quality of the engineering package and the end product for the international community
  • Aid engineering students in understanding how to use their practical skill-set, during their collegiate and professional careers, to better communities around the world
  • Help students gain real-world engineering experience through projects
