American Solar Challenge 2003 - July 13th
Day 1 of racing
Right now (2:30pm), our solar car caravan is entering Bloomington, IL. We started 7th today from Chicago and traveled through Joliet and Dwight. We'll be spending the night in Litchfield, just south of Springfield, IL. Everything is going well with the car.
I drove our solar car the first 4.5 hours today. Rob is driving right now on I-55 southbound. Sunny skies and cooperative traffic have resulted in a very successful morning drive.
FYI: We have wireless internet cards donated to the team from Sprint, allowing us to access the Internet while driving down the road.
