National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemist and Chemical Engineers

NOBCChE is a national organization that initiates and supports the local, regional, national, and global programs that assist people of color in fully realizing their potential in academic, professional, and entrepreneurial pursuits in chemistry, chemical engineering, and related fields!  

The Organization promotes careers in science and technology, as well as encourage college students to pursue degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines.

The Auburn Chapter fully recognizes and contributes to the national organization’s purpose.

Students of all ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to join, as well as faculty members.

The Auburn Chapter offers members the opportunity to attend conferences, improve resumes, and gain exposure to company representatives looking to offer students jobs and internships. NOBCChE will be hosting events such as monthly meetings, football tailgates, tutoring sessions, and many social events throughout the year.
