The IEEE officers are student elects who organize chapter activities and programs geared towards current students, prospective students and alumni alike. The IEEE officers always welcome questions, comments and suggestions via email ieeeadmin@eng.auburn.edu.

Michael Carroll President
Presidential Responsibilities
  1. Overall manager of all Branch affairs
  2. Arrange for the election of new officers
  3. Coordinate activities with Section and Region officers
  4. Prepare necessary reports for IEEE Student Services
    1. Annual Plan: Due two months after the academic year begins
    2. Annual Report: Due six months after the academic year ends
 
William Woodall 1st Vice President
First Vice-Presidential Responsibilities
  1. Chair the Program and Membership Committees
  2. Organize special events beyond the regular program events
  3. Arrange for refreshments
  4. Perform the Chairman's duties if need arises
 
Eric Miller 2nd Vice President
Second Vice-Presidential Responsibilities
  1. Submit to IEEE Student Services the Newly Elected Officers Form
  2. Keep records of each Branch meeting
  3. Be responsible for all Branch correspondence
  4. Post a calendar of events
 
Katrina Swanson Treasurer
Treasurer Responsibilities
  1. Maintain the Branch accounts
  2. Prepare an annual budget and submit it to IEEE Student Services
  3. Prepare final financial statement
  4. Oversee all fundraising activities
 
Justin Shiflett E-Council Rep
E-Council Representative Responsibilities
  1. Attend E-council Meetings in Hollis 111 on Thursdays at 6:00 PM.
  2. See that the outstanding graduate of the College of Engineering (OGCE) is selected every semester.
  3. Assist with:
    1. Homecoming open house in the fall.
    2. E-day during the winter.
    3. S-pac during the spring.
    4. IEEE career fair.
 
Eric Miller Webmaster

Webmaster Responsibilities
  1. Update the webpage in a timely manner
  2. Network with industry and faculty members to maintain information of interest to EE's.

Dr. A Scottedward Hodel Advisor

Advisor Responsibilities

  1. Ensure that information from IEEE Headquarters is transmitted to the student Officers.
  2. Attend Executive Committee meetings and assist Branch Committees.
  3. Consult with the Section SAC Chair, Regional SAC Chair or Region Director about Branch activities or problems.
  4. Endorse all new student applications.
  5. Promote student awareness of awards, contests and benefits of membership.
  6. Interest other faculty members in the activities of the Branch.
