The Aubie-Sat1 Students are currently building the State of Alabama's as well as Auburn's first student designed and built satellite.

This Program is under the guidance of Dr. J-M Wersinger Professor of Physics at Auburn. Aubie-sat is following guidelines set by Calpoly to achieve this goal. Eventually Aubie-Sat1 will takeoff onboard a Russian Rocket and orbit Earth. Future missions might be headed to Mars once the system is perfected.

Aubie-Sat could serve as an emergency back up system for larger satellites that could face unexpected problems.
