Jager Scholorship to be Awarded in 1997

The first Charles R. Jager electrical engineering scholarship is scheduled to be awarded next spring, and is expected to be filled for the 1997-98 academic year. The scholarship's endowment was established by Charles and Rosemary Jager in memory of his father, a 1932 electrical engineering graduate who died in 1995.
It is anticipated that the earnings from the endowment will be sufficient to provide in-state tuition to an electrical engineering student in each award cycle. The scholarship recipient must be a junior or senior, and preference will be given to students who express an interest in studying electric power. The scholarship will extend for two years.
