The first Charles R. Jager electrical engineering scholarship is scheduled
to be awarded next spring, and is expected to be filled for the 1997-98
academic year. The scholarship's endowment was established by Charles and
Rosemary Jager in memory of his father, a 1932 electrical engineering graduate who
died in 1995.
It is anticipated that the earnings from the endowment will be sufficient to provide in-state tuition to an electrical
engineering student in each award cycle. The scholarship recipient must be a
junior or senior, and preference will be given to students who express an
interest in studying electric power. The scholarship will extend for two years.
