BET students earn top honors in business plan contest

Auburn University's Business-Engineering-Technology (BET) students were awarded first prize out of seven teams at the Illinois Institute of Technology business plan competition held in Chicago.  Auburn team members include civil engineering sophomore Jonathan Martin, aerospace engineering sophomore Lauren McManus, electrical engineering junior Hamilton Moore and marketing junior Sara Yousey. The BET minor is offered jointly by the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering and the College of Business to prepare students for careers in technology-intensive firms by training them to successfully develop business plans and implement technical skills.
